Dr. Subadra Arunagirinathan (Dr. Arun), Optometrist

Dr. Arun graduated from University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science. She then received her Bachelor of Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honour Society in each year of attendance at Nova Southeastern University. She not only excelled academically but has also held various leadership positions such as Class President in all four years, Student Government Association Vice-President, and Beta Sigma Kappa Treasurer. In recognition of her outstanding leadership role, she received the American Optometric Association Student Leadership Award.
She gained extensive skills from clinical rotations that focused on contact lenses, pediatric optometry, and primary care. Dr. Arun is Board Certified by the Canadian Examiners in Optometry and is licensed by the College of Optometrists of Ontario. She is a member of both the Ontario Association of Optometrists & the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
She is also Board Certified in the United States by The National Board of Examiners in Optometry and is licensed to practice in the states of New York and Florida. She spent 8 years practicing in one of the largest medical optometric private practices in Upstate New York as Director of Dry Eye Center.
